Our Nationwide Clean By Mail service prices are identical to the prices you would pay if you were a local in-store client or a local pickup and delivery client.

Unlike ordinary cleaners, we don’t add a 3% to 6% “environmental tax, surcharge or charge” to any service order. This "environmental tax, surcharge or charge”is nothing more than a scam designed to generate additional revenues as there is no state-mandated “environmental tax, surcharge or charge” in Arizona.

There is no sales tax on dry cleaning and related services in Arizona.

Even though time is critical to achieving optimum results, situations may arise where you need your items back in a shorter time frame. Please ask about our Expedited Service.

Please Note: Our Expedited Service is only available for garments (bespoke, made-to-measure, designer, high fashion and the like) and household textiles (bed and table linens, bedspreads, comforters, coverlets and the like) that are not heavily stained/soiled, do not require extensive restoration and do not require extra-special handling. Shipping your fine garments, household textiles & accessories to us

At RAVE FabriCARE, we make shipping so easy.

1. Complete our Nationwide Clean By Mail Service Order Form

Our Nationwide Clean By Mail Service Order Form comprises 3 parts:

Part 1 – Personal Information (REQUIRED information)

Provides us with your personal details (name, addresses, etc.), distribution details (hold for pick up by me, deliver to my home as part of my regular pick up and delivery service, pack and ship by carrier), shipping details (choice of carrier, shipping method, insurance, etc.) and payment details (credit card information, etc.).

Please note that we will not commence service or ship orders unless we have a valid credit card on file.

If you do not wish to enter your credit card number on your Clean By Mail Service Order Form, you can enter CALL FOR CREDIT CARD in lieu of a credit card number. We will call you for that credit card number before we commence service.

Part 2 – Inventory of Items Sent (RECOMMENDED information)

Provides us with a detailed inventory of the items you’re sending in.

Completing the Inventory of Items Sent Form is optional. However, in the event no form is enclosed with your order, our descriptions and final counts must be accepted as definitive.

Part 3 – Personal Preferences Profile (OPTIONAL information)

Informs us of your likes and dislikes.

For example, how you like the feel of your cottons and linens. How you want us to hang your slacks, trousers and jeans. What your shirt laundry starch preference might be. How you want us to fold you sweaters. Etc.

You only have to complete the Personal Preferences Profile form once. Once we’ve entered your personal preferences in our system, you don’t have to submit the form when you use this service on any subsequent occasion.

You should resubmit the form only if there has been a change in any of the base information you originally provided.

The Form

To ship your garments, household textiles and/or accessories to us:

  • Type in your relevant information
  • Print out the Form, and
  • Ship your item(s) to us and include the Form in the package.

Or, alternatively,

  • Open the Nationwide Clean By Mail Form PDF below
  • Type in your relevant information
  • Copy the Form
  • Email the Form to us (with a note stating that a box is on it's way)
  • Ship your item(s) to us and include a note in the package stating that the Form was emailed to us.

2. Pack your items in an appropriately-sized box

Before you pack your garments, household textiles and/or accessories, please make sure that they are completely dry. Items that are damp or wet could develop mold or mildew during transit.

Please do not use plastic shipping pouches to ship your garments, household textiles and/or accessories. Typically, the contents arrive in a relatively humid and hot condition.

There’s no need to pack your garments, household textiles and/or accessories very carefully. It’s ok to roll or fold your items and insert them into your shipping box — unless there is valid reason not to do so (for example, if you're shipping a couture dress with boning in the corset area, we would advise you to use a larger box so as not the crush the construction of the corset).

3. Ship your box to us

Suggestion: Use a shipper such as United States Postal Service (USPS), UPS or FedEx that provides a tracking number.

Please note: RAVE FabriCARE assumes no responsibility for the loss of or damage to your bespoke, made-to-measure, designer, high fashion, specialty and couture garments and/or other pieces in transit to us.

Mailing Label

  • Fold the 8 1/2 x 11 paper in half
  • Attach the Mailing Label to the outer box/envelope with tape

4. Await confirmation of the receipt of your box

If you are a new Nationwide Clean By Mail client, we will contact you by email or phone within 48 hours of the receipt of your item(s)

This contact may take a little longer in certain circumstances. For example, it may take a little longer if your box arrives a day or two prior to a weekend, a day or two prior to a national holiday weekend, or a day, or two prior to our annual vacation (typically, the second full week in August).

If you are a returning Nationwide Clean By Mail client, we will typically not contact you unless there is a reason to do so. For example, we'll contact you to clarify any special instructions you may have provided.

Returning your fine garments, household textiles & accessories to you

1. Packing your fine garments, household textiles & accessories

In order to ensure that your garments, household textiles and/or accessories arrive at their destination in optimum condition, we pay particular attention to the manner in which we package your garments, household textiles and/or accessories for shipping.

For example:

  • All garments (other than men’s laundered and dry cleaned shirts) are double bagged (two, extra wide poly bags per garment) and stuffed with acid-free tissue.
  • All men’s laundered and dry cleaned shirts (dress, casual, polo, crew neck, etc.) are hand folded, cushioned with acid free tissue and inserted into a heavy gauge poly bag with a built in “cushion of air” to ensure that there is no or negligible “pressure” on the shirt. The idea is that you should be able to remove the shirt from the bag with practically no creases in the body of the shirt and wear it without any further hand ironing.
  • All sweaters are hand folded, cushioned with acid free tissue and inserted into breathable sweater bags.
  • All garments are carefully packed in one of our flat or upright shipping boxes in such a way as to minimize movement during travel. As we use 15 different sizes of flat and upright shipping boxes, we always seek to match the size of the garments being shipped to the size of shipping box being used.

2. Paying for our services

Your total service charge will comprise the following:

  • Service charges
  • Carrier shipping charges
  • Carrier insurance charges (if any)
  • Shipping box charges

Service charges

Our Nationwide Clean By Mail service prices are identical to the prices you would pay if you were a local in-store client or a local pickup and delivery client.

Unlike ordinary cleaners, we do not add a 3% to 6% “environmental tax, surcharge or charge” to any service order as there is no such tax, surcharge or charge in Arizona.

There is no sales tax on dry cleaning and related services in Arizona.

Carrier shipping charges

We only ship via United States Postal Service (USPS) or United Postal Service (UPS).

We can ship Federal Express (FedEx), but only if you have your own personal or corporate FedEx shipping account.

If you wish to use your own personal or corporate UPS or FedEx shipping account, please enter the relevant details on your Nationwide Clean By Mail Form.

If you are using a corporate UPS or FedEx shipping account, you must be authorized to use that account for your personal needs. If you're not the primary owner of the corporation, you are, most likely, not authorized to use their corporate shipping account.

Please note: USPS or UPS carrier charges for return shipping are charged at the exact price charged to us by the carrier. Unlike other dry cleaners and online stores, we make no profit on carrier charges. We’re merely trying to recover our actual out-of-pocket expenses.

Please note: On occasion, a client will query the "high cost" of shipping. Please understand that we have no control over USPS or UPS shipping rates.

At RAVE FabriCARE, we package your garments in a shipping box that's appropriately sized to ensure that your garments, household textiles and accessories arrive in "ready to wear" and "ready to use" condition. After we enter the details (box size, weight, destination zip code, etc.) into our shipping system, that system provides the comparative USPS and UPS shipping costs.

Unless you specify particular carrier preference on your Nationwide Clean By Mail Form, we'll always select the most economical shipping option.

Carrier insurance charges (if any)

USPS or UPS carrier insurance charges (if any) are charged to you at the exact price charged to us by the carrier.

Unlike other dry cleaners and online stores, we make no profit on any carrier insurance charges. We’re merely trying to recover our out-of-pocket expenses.

Shipping box charges

We do charge for our shipping boxes.

We use 15 different sizes of shipping boxes. Our flat shipping boxes range in size from 17 x 6 x 6  to 48 x 24 x 8.

Our most popular shipping boxes are

  • 20 x 12 x 16 (suitable for 5 hand folded, air-bagged shirts): $____ each

Please note: Some orders may require more than one shipping container.

We’ll always endeavor to pack your items in the most cost efficient way consistent with delivering a garment, household textile and accessory in "ready to wear" and "ready to use" condition.

With this approach in mind, please do not ask us to fold any garments that should not be folded. For example, we will refuse to fold a sport coat or a blazer in any manner that will compromise the hand ironing the garment.

Service charges

The service charge for each item will be detailed on a separate invoice attached to each item.

The total cost for all your items will be charged to your credit card as a single transaction ON THE DAY your items are shipped. A credit card receipt for the service charges will be attached to the outside of your shipping box (in a plastic pouch).

The total of the carrier cost, carrier insurance charges (if any) and shipping box charges for all boxes shipped (there could be more than one box shipped) will be charged to your credit card as a single transaction within ONE TO THREE DAYS AFTER THE DAY your items are shipped.

RAVE FabriCARE accepts American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa.

We do not accept personal checks, cashiers checks, travelers checks, money orders or COD orders.

3A. Shipping your fine garments, household textiles & accessories to you if you live in the 48 contiguous states or Washington DC

We will return your order via United States Postal Service (USPS) or United Parcel Service (UPS), whichever service is more economical.

If speed of delivery is more important to you than the cost of delivery in a particular circumstance, we’ll look at both speed of delivery and cost of delivery and make an appropriate decision consistent with your time restraints.

If USPS is the most economical cost and you still do not wish us to use USPS, we can ship UPS. Please note, however, that it's possible that the UPS shipping cost will be higher than the USPS shipping cost. Not always, but in many cases.

If you have a UPS or FedEx shipping account, please provide your UPS or FedEx account information when completing your Nationwide Clean By Mail Service Order Form.

If you are using a corporate or organization shipping account, you must be authorized to use that account. If your corporation or organization subsequently deems those shipping charges to be "unauthorized", we will charge you for said shipping costs.

As soon as your order(s) is picked up by USPS, UPS or FedEx, you’ll receive an email from the carrier which will, amongst other things, identify the tracking number, shipping date and anticipated delivery date. In order to ensure that you receive this email, please make sure that you provide an email address when completing your Nationwide Clean By Mail Service Order Form

When you complete your Nationwide Clean By Mail Service Order Form, we ask you where carriers typically leave your parcels and whether you are comfortable with this delivery location. Please note that we cannot accept shipping requests such as "Leave On The Rear Patio"/"Don't Deliver On Certain Days"/"Deliver By A Certain Time Of Day"/"Do Not Deliver On Weekends" as the exact time and place of delivery is controlled by the carriers and/or their agents. If you have any concerns in this regard, please contact us to discuss alternative delivery arrangements.

3B. Shipping your fine garments, household textiles & accessories to you if you live in the non-contiguous states (Alaska or Hawaii) or off-shore territories (American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico or the US Virgin Islands)

We will return your order via United States Postal Service (USPS).

If speed of delivery is more important to you than the cost of delivery in a particular circumstance, we’ll look at both speed of delivery and cost of delivery and make an appropriate decision consistent with your time restraints.

Definitions

French cuffs – flat
French cuffs returned flat without a fold.

French cuffs – fold roll
French cuffs turned up with no crease. Button holes are aligned. RAVE cuff links are inserted.

Please note: We do not recommend creasing the cuffs of french cuff shirts. We’ll most likely decline to process your shirts should you elect this option.

Sleeves – rolled
No shoulder to cuff crease along the sleeve (with a crease along the bottom seam of the sleeve from underarm to cuff).

A V-shaped plastic collar support inserted into the top button of a blouse or shirt to prevent “collar droop”.

Packaging – hangers
Shirts returned on 18” wide white metal shirt hangers.

Packaging – hand folded
Shirts and blouses returned hand folded (never machine folded) and sealed in a 4 mil heavy duty plastic bag with a “built in” cushion of air. The complete packaging includes a thick, white board, white acid free tissue, a bubble-style V-shaped plastic collar support in the top button, and a plastic collar band on the inside of the neck and under the collar.

Soft press all cottons and linens
Garment is finished by hand using no sizing (sizing is to dry cleaned garments what starch is to laundered dress shirts) or water mist/vapor. The result is a semi-wrinkled fabric with no smoothness and no body/crispness.

No sizing all cottons and linens
Garment is finished by hand using no sizing (sizing is to dry cleaned garments what starch is to laundered dress shirts) and some water mist/vapor. The result is a smooth fabric with almost no body/crispness.

Light sizing all cottons and linens
Garment is finished by hand using some sizing (sizing is to dry cleaned garments what starch is to laundered dress shirts) and some water mist/vapor. The result is a smooth fabric with a light (but not stiff) body/crispness. Medium or heavy sizing is available on special request (although we do not recommend a medium or heavy sizing on cottons and linens).

Fold slacks/trousers/jeans over a strut hanger
All slacks/trousers/jeans returned folded over the bar of a strut hanger.

Clip slacks/trousers/jeans lengthwise at the waist
All slacks/trousers/jeans returned hung lengthwise from the waistband on a clip hanger that does not leave indents on your slacks, trouser or jeans.

All slacks, trousers and jeans with no creases are always returned in this manner (unless you specify otherwise).

All linen slacks, trousers and jeans are always returned in this manner ((unless you specify otherwise).

All shorts are always returned in this manner.

All linen slacks, trousers and jeans are always returned in this manner if the waistband is relatively large and the outer seam of the slacks, trousers and jeans is relatively short (because the distribution of the garment’s weight is concentrated in the waist area garments of this nature tend to fall off strut hangers quite easily).

We do not recommend hanging slacks/trousers/jeans lengthwise at the hem.

No creases on any slacks/trousers/jeans
All slacks, trousers and jeans that arrive at our facility with no creases are returned with no creases.

If slacks, trousers and jeans arrive at our facility with ceases and your instruction is to return all slacks, trousers and jeans with “no creases”, we will remove the crease to the extent practical. If we have any questions as to the desirability returning a particular garment with no creases, we will contact you.

Crease all slacks/trousers/jeans
All slacks, trousers and jeans that arrive at our facility are returned with creases even if they have no creases on arrival. If we have any questions as to the desirability of returning a garment with a crease, we will contact you.

Fold sweaters over a strut hanger
All sweaters are returned folded over the bar of a strut hanger.

Because of the likelihood of stretching, it is not appropriate to hang a sweater or a knit vertically on a hanger. We will respectfully decline to clean and finish any sweater or knit if that request is accompanied by an instruction to hang the sweater or knit vertically on a hanger.

Fold sweaters flat in breathable sweater bag
All sweaters are returned, flat, carefully folded and cushioned with white acid free tissue in a breathable sweater bag.
