We offer the fashion world, a complete garment, household textile and accessory cleaning and restoration service

RAVE FabriCARE is used and recommended by more upscale department stores, clothing boutiques, bespoke tailors, made-to-measure clothiers, bridal salons, fine linen stores, and handbag and shoe salons than all other dry cleaners in the metro Phoenix area combined.

Upscale fashion dictates an extraordinary level of garment care. RAVE FabriCARE has been delivering extraordinary care for fine garments, household textiles and accessories for over 35 years.

In addition to serving individual clients through in-store service, pickup and delivery service and nationwide and worldwide clean by mail service, RAVE FabriCARE provides specialist cleaning and restoration services to:

  • Designers
  • Upscale department stores
  • Upscale clothing boutiques
  • Bespoke tailors
  • Made-to-measure clothiers
  • Upscale bridal salons
  • Fine linen stores
  • Interior designers.

In this section of our website , we'll refer -- collectively -- to all these entities as a "fashion entity".

Please note that we do not serve consignment, resale, off-price, discount or fast fashion stores.

Services provided

We offer fashion entities a complete range of services for garments, household textiles and accessories associated with:

  • Trunk shows
  • Photo shoots
  • Store inventory
  • Store uniforms
  • Customer-owned garments, household textiles and accessories (commonly referred to as COGs)
  • Store employee personal garments, household textiles and accessories

This range of services includes:

  • Cleaning
  • Hand ironing
  • Repairs and alterations
  • Virus decontamination

Advisory services provided

Our advisory services to fashion entities include:

  • Conducting training seminars on a variety of care-related topics
  • Providing technical advice on stain removal, cleaning, finishing and storage
  • Testing the serviceability of fabrics
  • Testing the serviceability of beads, sequins, and other trim and embellishments
  • Providing garment and household textile labeling advice.

At RAVE FabriCARE, we strive to foster close working relationships with fashion entities by developing service programs and pricing arrangements specific to each fashion entity served.

Dedicated service representatives

We have a full-time Retail Store Service Representative whose responsibilities include:

  • Visiting your fashion entity or entities once or twice a week to pick up and deliver garments, household textiles and accessories
  • Coordinating all services to your store.

Store inventory accounts and pricing

Once we receive a request for service, we'll provide the fashion entity with two nylon blue bags. Each bag has a laminated tag designating the account as "Entity Name (Inventory/Customer Owned Goods)."

The pricing of garments owned by a fashion entity is based on a percentage discount off our regular retail prices. The discounted price is calculated to recoup the direct labor costs associated with cleaning/restoring the garment in question. In other words, we deliver the service at less than our total direct cost of production.

We offer no discounts on:

  • "non-regular" garments including leather and suede garments; specialty garments such as garments trimmed with beads, sequins, rhinestones, leather and suede; formal dresses and gowns; and bridal gowns.
  • household textiles including bed and table linens, comforters, drapes, throws and cushion covers.
  • accessories including handbags, purses, wallets, backpacks, shoes and boots.

The price charged to all fashion entities served by RAVE FabriCARE is identical irrespective of the size of the entity. For example, the pricing offered to a single location department store is identical to the pricing offered to a group of three or four upscale boutiques under common ownership.

Uniform accounts and pricing

Once we receive a request for service, we'll provide the fashion entity with two nylon blue bags for each participating employee. Each bag has a laminated tag designating the account as "Entity Name (Uniforms)". The employee's first name also appears on the laminated tag.

Once we receive a request for service, we'll work with the fashion entity to (1) create a list every garment in the uniform range, and (2) assign a price to each garment.

As a general rule, uniform pricing is more heavily discounted than store inventory.

To avoid confusion amongst employees, the ticket attached to each item of uniform delivered shows the name of the employee.

Customer-owned garments, household textile and accessory account and pricing

It's quite common for a client of a fashion entity to return a garment, household textile or accessory to the fashion entity with a comment such as:

  • "my dry cleaner refused to clean/rejected my (fill in blank)"
  • "my dry cleaner could not remove the stains on my (fill in the blank)
  • "my dry cleaner put stains on my (fill in blank) that weren't there when I dropped it off"
  • "my dry cleaner faded my (fill in blank)"
  • "my dry cleaner turned my white (fill in blank) dingy, gray or yellow
  • "my dry cleaner stretched/shrunk my (fill in blank) and now it's too loose/too tight.

Under these circumstances, the fashion entity might decide to refer the client to us by handing the client our business card.

Alternatively, in order to demonstrate their superior customer service, the fashion entity might accept the item from their client for pickup by us.

In this particular situation, the fashion entity would provide us with the client's name and contact information.

On return to our facility, we'll:

  • contact the client,
  • discuss the client's concerns,
  • inform the client as to what we believe can or cannot be achieved given the existing condition of the garment,
  • provide the client with a price or price range for the work to be undertaken,
  • obtain the client's credit card information, and
  • offer -- on completion of our work -- to either:

    (a) return the item to the fashion entity for pick up by the client,

    (b) hold the item at our facility for pick up by the client, or

    (c) arrange for the item to be delivered to the client's home or office using our On Demand pickup and delivery service.

Customer owned goods (COGs) are ineligible for any special pricing.

Accordingly, fashion entities should refrain from categorizing "customer-owned goods" as "store inventory" in order to obtain special pricing for their client(s). At RAVE FabriCARE, we work diligently to maintain the trust of fashion entities we work with; abuse of that trust will result in the immediate termination of all future services to that fashion entity.

Store employee personal accounts and pricing

Once we have established a service relationship with a fashion entity, it's quite common for some store employees to request service as well.

The pricing of employee-owned garments is based on a percentage discount off our regular retail prices.

We offer no employee discounts on:

  • "non-regular" garments including leather and suede garments; specialty garments such as garments trimmed with beads, sequins, rhinestones, leather and suede; formal dresses and gowns; and bridal gowns.
  • household textiles including bed and table linens, comforters, drapes, throws and cushion covers.
  • accessories including handbags, purses, wallets, backpacks, shoes and boots.

Many fashion entities have a designated area/rack at their store where employees can leave their personal nylon blue bags for pickup by RAVE FabriCARE and where we can return the employee's completed cleaning.

If a fashion entity has a designated area/rack, employees must have their cleaning picked up and delivered to the fashion entity's location in order to receive the discounted price.

The following additional limitations apply to participation in our discount program:

  • This discount program only applies to a fashion entity employee's own personal garments as well as the personal garments of a spouse/partner -- if the parties are legally married.

Other members of a fashion entity employee's immediate or extended family, friends and neighbors are ineligible for this discount program.

"Favored" clients of a fashion entity employee are also ineligible for this discount program.

Violations of this courtesy will result in the immediate termination of all future services to the fashion entity employee -- even if the employee subsequently offers to pay full retail price.
  • Fashion entity employees are not eligible for our Regularly Scheduled or On Call home pickup and delivery service.
  • If a fashion entity does not have a designated area/rack at their store where employees can leave their personal nylon blue bags for pickup and where we can return the employee's completed cleaning, employees can drop off and pick up their cleaning from our facility -- but only with the prior approval of RAVE FabriCARE management.

Proof of current employment by the fashion entity, such as a business card or employee badge, is required in all cases where a fashion entity employee elects to drop off their cleaning at and pick up their cleaning from our facility.

RAVE FabriCARE will then contact the fashion entity to confirm that information.
  • In the event fashion entity employee ceases to be employed by the fashion entity, they're not eligible to participate in the discount program.

If a fashion entity employee ceases to be employed by the fashion entity and fails to inform RAVE FabriCARE of this fact in order to extend their participation in the discount program, RAVE FabriCARE will immediately terminate any current and all future services to the former employee -- even if the former employee subsequently offers to pay full retail price.

Fashion entity employees who drop off and pickup from our facility should note that we randomly check with all fashion entities to confirm that they are still currently employed by the fashion entity.

Payment for services rendered by the store - Store inventory and store uniform accounts

When a garment, household textile and/or accessories store requests services from RAVE FabriCARE, we establish an Inventory and/or Uniform Account for that store with a business credit card on file for each Account established.

We only accept credit cards issued in the name of the fashion entity. We do not accept credit cards issued in the name of a Store Manager if that Store Manager is personally responsible for all financial obligations associated with that card.

We accept American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa cards.

A detailed invoice is produced for each garment, household textile and/or accessory delivered to a store.
Every time we make a delivery, the total of all invoices delivered that day is charged to the credit card on file.

We do not offer open accounts (i.e., accounts where a statement is emailed at the end of each month to the corporate entity).

In the rare circumstance where we do establish an open Business Account for a store, a Statement will be emailed to the Accounts Payable Department at corporate at the end of each month. Full payment of the accumulated balance on the Account is due by the 15th of the following month.

The Terms & Conditions governing all Business Open Accounts, can be found here.

Payment for services rendered by the store's payment processing vendor - Store inventory and store uniform accounts

Some stores have contracted with a third party vendor such as WorkSmith for the payment for all services rendered by RAVE FabriCARE.

In those cases, we do not require a credit card on file. Payment is made directly to RAVE FabriCARE by the third party vendor.

Payment for services rendered - Store employee personal accounts

We do not offer open accounts (i.e., accounts where statements are submitted at the end of each month to the store employee).

Every time we make a delivery, we’ll charge the total of all service tickets delivered that day to your credit card on file. A copy of your credit card receipt will be attached to one of the orders delivered that day.

We accept American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa.

At RAVE FabriCARE, we’re committed to serving fashion entities with extraordinary quality of product and extraordinary quality of service.

"Rave has been so easy to work with and their highest priority is taking the highest quality of care that’s possible for the clothes that we send to them. Their prices are significantly higher than at our neighborhood dry cleaner so we are selective about what we send and it’s usually our couture garments. My Prada dress shirts were being destroyed by our neighborhood dry cleaner. The Prada store in Scottsdale told us to send them to Rave and they restored the damaged shirts and are keeping the newer ones in like-new condition. It’s worth the price to know that they care about our fashion as much as we do."
