Unlike ordinary cleaners, we don’t add a 3% to 6% “environmental tax, surcharge or charge” to any service order. This is nothing more than a scam designed to generate additional revenues as there is no state-mandated “environmental tax, surcharge or charge” in Arizona.
There is no sales tax on dry cleaning and related services in Arizona.

Even though time is critical to achieving optimum results, situations may arise where you need your items back in a shorter time frame. Please ask about our Expedited Service (only available for regular garments, bed and table linens, and household textiles that are not heavily soiled and do not require restoration).

Our Nationwide Clean By Mail/Worldwide Clean By Mail Service Order Form (see below) comprises 3 parts:
Provides us with your personal details (name, addresses, etc.), distribution details (hold for pick up by me, deliver to my home as part of my regular pick up and delivery service, pack and ship by carrier), shipping details (choice of carrier, shipping method, insurance, etc.) and payment details (credit card information, etc.).
Please note that we will not commence service or ship orders unless we have a valid credit card on file.
If you do not wish to enter your credit card number on your Service Order Form, you can enter CALL FOR CREDIT CARD in lieu of a credit card number. We will call you for that credit card number before we commence service.
Provides us with a detailed inventory of the items you’re sending in.
Completing the Inventory of Items Sent Form is optional. However, in the event no form is enclosed with your order, our descriptions and final counts must be accepted as definitive.
Informs us of your likes and dislikes.
For example, how you like the feel of your cottons and linens. How you want us to hang your slacks, trousers and jeans. What your shirt laundry starch preference might be. How you want us to fold you sweaters. Etc.
You only have to complete the RAVE Personal Preferences Profile form once. Once we’ve entered your personal preferences in our RAVEtrac System, you don’t have to submit the form when you use this service on subsequent occasions.
You should resubmit the form only if there has been a change in any of the base information you originally provided.
In this case, please highlight any changes with a highlighter pen..
Before you pack your garments, household textiles and/or accessories, please make sure that they are completely dry. Items that are damp or wet could develop mold or mildew during transit.
If you’re shipping only one or two items, you might be able to use the boxes provided by various carrier services for air service.
Suggestion: Post Offices and courier companies such as Federal Express (FedEx), United Parcel Service (UPS) and DHL will, generally, not allow you to ship ground using their own air boxes.
So…
Please do not use plastic shipping pouches to ship your garments, household textiles and/or accessories. Typically, the contents arrive in a relatively humid and hot condition.
There’s no need to pack your garments, household textiles and/or accessories very carefully. It’s ok to gently roll or fold your items and insert them into your shipping box — unless there is valid reason not to do so (for example, if your’e shipping a couture dress with boning in the corset area, we would advise you to use a larger box so as not the crush the construction of the corset.

Invoices
The service charge for each item will be detailed on a separate invoice attached to each item.
The total charge for all your items will be charged to your credit card as a single transaction on the day your items are shipped. A credit card receipt for the service charges will be attached to the outside of your shipping box (in a plastic pouch).
The total of the carrier cost, carrier insurance charges (if any) and shipping box charges for all boxes shipped (there could be more than one box shipped) will be charged to your credit card as a single transaction either on the day your items are shipped or on the day after your items are shipped.
RAVE FabriCARE accepts American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa.
We do not accept personal checks, cashiers checks, travelers checks, money orders or COD orders.
Please understand that we will not pack any completed work, email or call you with a total service and shipping cost and then wait –possibly for days or weeks — for authorization to charge your card and ship.
We will return your order via United States Postal Service (USPS) or United Parcel Service (UPS), whichever service is more economical.
As a general rule, it’s more economical to ship USPS to the western USA and UPS to the eastern USA.
Furthermore, when shipping to the western USA, it’s often, not only more economical to ship USPS, but faster as well. For example, a box shipped to California or Utah by USPS Priority Mail will typically get to it’s destination cheaper and faster than UPS ground.

We do not recommend hanging slacks/trousers/jeans lengthwise at the hem.
No creases on any slacks/trousers/jeans
All slacks, trousers and jeans that arrive at our facility with no creases are returned with no creases.
If slacks, trousers and jeans arrive at our facility with ceases and your instruction is to return all slacks, trousers and jeans with “no creases”, we will remove the crease to the extent practical. If we have any questions as to the desirability returning a particular garment with no creases, we will contact you.
Crease all slacks/trousers/jeans
All slacks, trousers and jeans that arrive at our facility are returned with creases even if they have no creases on arrival. If we have any questions as to the desirability of returning a garment with a crease, we will contact you.
Fold sweaters over a strut hanger
All sweaters are returned folded over the bar of a strut hanger.
Because of the likelihood of stretching, it is not appropriate to hang a sweater or a knit vertically on a hanger. We will respectfully decline to clean and finish any sweater or knit if that request is accompanied by an instruction to hang the sweater or knit vertically on a hanger.

All sweaters are returned, flat, carefully folded and cushioned with white acid free tissue in a breathable sweater bag.

“I've been using them for a couple of years now and have nothing but consistent excellence. Most recently, I sent them some leather jackets that had been seriously damaged by mold (they were in a closet with high moisture for far to many months). “For the RAVE Bespoke Service, the jackets come back on wide hangers hung within individual tombstone boxes, stuffed carefully with acid-free tissue that their excellent ironwork is completely undisturbed. They will photograph items on arrival so that there is a reference for the pressing staff. The quality of the ironwork is no less than from a tailor. It's entirely above the standard of a dry cleaner. I can't imagine settling for anything less than this for bespoke clothes, and cross country is still easier than cross Atlantic, which is what I used to do. “This is simply the best cleaner in the nation. Those looking for an inexpensive cleaner, be warned. RAVE is pricy, but worth every dollar spent. I wear suits and sport coats on a daily basis and have had horrible experiences with different cleaners. Issues from cracked buttons, to them not pressing the jacket correctly, I was fed up. I met Stu at my place of employment (they offer free pick up and delivery at my place of employment) and told me about his establishment. I decided to give him a try. Well, a week later I spilled expresso on my trousers. I tried my local cleaners but they were unable to get a simple coffee stain out. I finally tried RAVE and sent my whole suit to be cleaned, and it came back a week later looking like new. The lapels are hand pressed giving it that rolled factor (there is nothing worse than a suit with lapels that have no life). For those that have had a suit made, bespoke or MTM, you understand the importance of a lapel brimmed with life. I've also had a wonderful 3 button roll sport coat (3 button coat that looks like a 2 button) cleaned and was pleased when it came back pressed to accommodate the roll. I love the fact that RAVE will take the buttons off and have your coat cleaned and then sew them back on. No more cracked horn buttons!! Yes!! Lastly RAVE is a miracle worker when it comes to white shirts. The shirt RAVE cleaned was my first custom shirt ever by Zegna. It had obvious signs of wear, many launderings, and god awful yellow armpit stains. RAVE was able to make the shirt look brand new! In conclusion, if you're looking for a "cheap" cleaner, RAVE is not the cleaner for you. But remember, you get what you pay for. RAVE FabriCARE is worth every penny. “Stu at RAVE is an old school artisan who understands stains and cloth. His business is quality hand cleaning of garments, not tubs of shirts at $2.49 on a hanger. I priced out Jeeves in NYC for some Hermes scarves that needed help. Stu did a better job at half the price. I do not live in Arizona so our transaction took place completely thru email and UPS. The scarves were returned on a tissue covered board - a real presentation. Just perfect. He saved one I thought was lost and brightened the color a good bit. I can only imagine how dresses come out. I am about to try an ochre silk covered with breading from the 40s. If you have good clothing this is a way to help them last longer. If you have an ugly spot, he can probably find something to remove it and not hurt the cloth. A fine place all round.”yelp.com
